The Parallel Chronicles is an urban sci-fi adventure, set predominantly in the American Midwest, where epic ESP-powered adventures are the last thing you'd expect. Of course, the unexceptional and overlooked nature of these humdrum landscapes may be just the thing secret organizations of espers take advantage of in order to keep their goings-on under the radar. Or perhaps there's a little more to the strange correlation of ESP abilities and the rural locations they tend to peak in. One thing is for sure: Yancey and River may have gotten more than they bargained for on this adventure.
